Andre Chan joins the course.
Andre Chan has just re-joined Yale-NUS after an 8-month break from College, where he worked for 6 months at a local church in Singapore, Barker Road Methodist Church. His interest is in anthropology and human experience and uses conventional male gender pronouns “He, Him, His”. Andre lived in Cambodia and Vietnam for two months in 2017 on an international peacebuilding program, and has experienced the wonders of Cambodian village showering with rainwater collected in pots while wearing a “Krama”. Andre remembers fondly the wonderful hospitality of young and old Cambodians and Vietnamese. He hopes to think critically about his experiences in Southeast Asia and learn many more things in this academic setting!
