Jarron Long joins the class

Hi everyone! I’m Jarron, a sophomore in Grace Hopper college. Last semester I took Intro to Cultural Anthropology, which I found really intersting, and this semester I wanted to broaden my understanding of the field. Unfortunately my sophomore status is keeping me at home in Chicago for this semester, but I’m excited to be transported by this class to a region I’m not very familiar with and explore the rich cultural heritage found there.  I look forward to using a variety of perspectives to understand the people and places that we will study, and hope that I leave the course with a better knowledge of the human experience, both particular and universal.
