Peter Joins the Class

Chào các bạn! Kamusta? Ako si Peter, and I’m a junior taking this class because I think any chance to learn more about SE Asia is a chance I’m gonna take. The vibrancy of the ecology, cultures, languages, histories, and food draws me to the region. I hope to learn more and more about this region with y’all. :) 

If I were to describe my specific interests … I am particularly interested in SE Asian diasporas, the legacy of conflict, the question of memory, language politics, and interethnic relations. If anyone else shares these same interests, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me so we can start a dialogue!
