Police Presence Proliferates

The Philippine National Police force has shifted their strategy in the fight against drugs within the city. By categorically sorting different traffickers, they hope to be more effective and loosen the grip of drugs in the Philippines. The Mindanao Times had a different spin than the last two sites I used (CNN and Manila Bulletin). It seemed to mostly be facts, but its English was not nearly as "refined" as either of the former sources. It wasn't written by a native speaker, which almost makes the piece seem more authentic or less Westernized. The differences between the two sources both written in the Philippines are illuminated when read side by side, and it's like two different friends are describing the same movie to you.
